Simu Liu takes on ‘The Copenhagen Test’ challenge

It is bad enough to be worried that watching is coming via cell phones, AI assista… Actor Simu Liu has been cast as first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale in Peacock’s new series “The Copenhagen Test” about the character of Hale, who discovers that his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. The series, set to air on Peacox, is about a spy vs. spy tale where the spying is done through the person's own eyes and ears. Liu identifies Hale as an underdog in the show, having to prove himself to others rather than to them. The show is set to begin on Dec. 27 on the streaming service. Liu credits his personal struggles with finding the trust within himself to trust himself rather than being doubted. He was named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people in 2022.
