Clear skies, light winds and temperatures in the mid-nineties as a warming trend returns to Central California. A weak upper-level low remains off the coast of Southern California, affecting the coast and will remain stationary for the rest of the week, with mostly clear skies expected to remain clear, with isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the Sierra Nevada crest expected to occur midweek. Highs in Bakersfield are expected to be around 4 to 8 degrees above seasonal average, with a forecast high of 95 degrees for the coming days. A warming trend is expected to return to the region mid-week.

Mainly clear skies prevail and will continue this week, with the exception of isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the Sierra Nevada crest at times through midweek.
