North High School Bakersfield Theft: Teen's Bike, Cards Stolen
A man allegedly hid in a North High restroom until dismissal, then grabbed a teen's bike and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Donnie Jones, a 15-year-old student at North High School in Bakersfield, California, found his bicycle and three Yu-Gi-Oh trading card decks stolen from his belongings after classes. His mother, Tania Diaz, has raised serious concerns about the possibility of an unauthorized adult hiding inside the school for several hours. Campus police have identified a suspect, but no further details have been released. Jones has been walking to school while his family waits for his belongings to be returned. The Kern High School District has not responded to questions about how the man accessed campus or what security measures were in place.
