BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating an auto theft in south Bakersfield.

Police say the alleged incident happened in the 2700 block of White Lane around 1:35 a.m. on March 28. The vehicle has been recovered.

In the alleged incident, two suspects were allegedly seen stealing a vehicle that was left on.

One suspect is described as a woman in her 30s, at the time of the incident she was wearing a gray shirt, black pants and black shoes, according to police.

The other suspect is described as a man in his 30s, with a slim build, at the time of the incident he was wearing a gray hat with white writing, a white and brown plaid shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
