Kern County Public Health will be hosting a Know Your Numbers Program in California City on Tuesday, June 11.
It will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the California City Parks and Recreation, located at 10400 Heather Avenue for the initial health screenings and event kick-off.
The program offers two free health screenings to help residents see their body mass index, blood pressure, blood glucose, and cholesterol levels before and after six weeks of nutrition coaching from the program.
Fitness and nutrition classes will be held Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. from June 18 through June 23 and are available to the public, even if you didn’t attend the initial health screening.
