"This is a very big deal and it is a great win for the Tejon Ranch Center,” said Derek Abbott, Executive Vice President of Real Estate Tejon Company.

In January, the Tejon Ranch Company finally broke ground on two of their projects. These are the fully automated Nestle distribution center and the Tierra Vista apartment complex.

Construction has already started for the first phase of the Tierra Vista Apartments. In total, this complex will have around 228 units and will be located next to the Outlets of Tejon. The second phase will most likely increase the number of units available to 495.

The apartments will be owned by the Tejon Ranch Co. and they hope to have some of these units available to rent by 2025. Their idea is to provide affordable housing for people working in Tejon.

Construction for the AI Nestle distribution center is set to end sometime in 2025. The goal is to have it up and running by 2026.
