BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Kern County Library is now offering a selection of comics and magazines on a mobile app.

On the app, Libby, readers can now access digital comics and magazines straight from the Kern County Library. The app will also feature eBooks and audiobooks.

The library says you will be alerted through the app when a new issue is released and features magazines dating back to three years.

Comics can be borrowed for seven, 14, or 21 days, while magazines have a fixed 14-day borrowing period.
