Joshua Michael Stehle, 29, from Thornton, Colorado, has been extradited from Utah to face kidnapping charges in Kern County, California. He is accused of kidnapping an underage girl from Bakersfield, California, and planning to marry her. The girl was found by police in Utah and Stehles was arrested on April 2. He faces six felony charges including kidnapping, contacting a minor to commit a sexual offense, and false imprisonment.

The man accused of kidnapping an underage girl from Bakersfield has been extradited from Utah.
Joshua Michael Stehle, 29, of Thornton, Colorado is expected to face a Kern County judge on Thursday, April 4.

KSCO said Stehle met the underage girl online and planned to marry her. He then picked her up in east Bakersfield on March 17.
The two were found by police in Utah.
Stehle was arrested by KCSO deputies on April 2. He faces six felony charges including kidnapping, contacting a minor to commit a sexual offense, and false imprisonment, records show.
