KSCO said Stehle met the underage girl online and planned to ‘marry’ her. He then picked her up in east Bakersfield on March 17.
The two were found by police in Utah.
Stehle was arrested by KCSO deputies on April 2.
He faces eight felony charges including kidnapping, contacting a minor to commit a sexual offense, and false imprisonment, records show.
