The suspects were arrested following a search warrant served in the 2200 block of N. Baker Street, where they allegedly found evidence of the illegal operation inside the property. Kern County Sheriff's deputies said Thursday afternoon they arrested five suspects related to an alleged illegal gambling operation in east Bakersfield.

At around 4:54 p.m., deputies served a search warrant in the 2200 block of N. Baker Street regarding an alleged illegal gambling operation.

Deputies said they found evidence of the illegal operation inside the property.

Five suspects were arrested and were booked into the Lerdo Jail. All five had outstanding warrants, said officials.
